Mechanical Traction

For many neck and back conditions, spinal traction is a decompressive therapy option for physiotherapy patients. Traction gradually relieves the patient’s spine of the compressive forces created from a lifetime of standing and sitting postures, allowing the body to more effectively heal itself. A relaxing procedure, patients will remain on the traction bed for an allotted period of time as the machine gently pulls and relaxes in succession.
