Ultrasound

Using a special crystal in the ultrasound apparatus, ultrasound treatments deliver high intensity ultrasound waves deep into the tissue to improve blood flow and assist with healing. If a physiotherapist chooses to use ultrasound, they will apply a conducting gel to the injured site and move the ultrasound apparatus over the tissue in constant circular patterns.
